Hello Brothers and Sisters:

We thank you for your patience and cooperation with the very sensitive issue of repayment of funds to Southwest Airlines by our members.  This was a payroll issue with Southwest and they have assured the District that all of our members have had an opportunity to sit with a Center Leader and/or Shop Steward and go over their individual situation.  With that said, all members that have been given notices to sign should have done so by now.  The Company has brought to the District’s attention that members at many Centers have refused to return signed repayment letters.  Your Union Stewards will help explain what the ramifications are if members do not return these letters signed.  If a member has not been advised about their individual situation by Leaders, there is a process to object,  through the grievance process.
